The 2021 Fishing Derby was great, the weather was awesome, AND the fish were biting. Everyone seemed to have a great time … what more can one ask for. Interestingly, we discovered that a live cicada made excellent bate. When hooked and dropped into the water, his line was attacked almost immediately. Who would have thought?

Our Derby winners this year were:
Ages 4-8 group: Ella Dunlap took 1st place … and Brooklynn Dunlap took 2nd place.
Ages 9-13 group: Neil Gupta took 1st place … and Jai Gupta took 2nd place.
